I have a problem completing a booking or request online, what should I do?

Can I cancel my participation?

The Customer may cancel planned classroom training as follows:

  • By written notice of more than forty-five (45) days prior to the first date of the training: Backbase will refund (or credit, as applicable) hundred percent (100) of the relevant Fees;  
  • By written notice of between forty-five (45) and thirty (30) days prior to the first date of the training: Backbase will refund (or credit, as applicable) fifty percent (50) of the relevant Fees; and
  • By written notice of less than thirty (30) days prior to the first date of the training: Customer may cancel however without refund of any Fees;  
  • For the avoidance of doubt, if the Statement of Work is signed by the Customer within less than thirty (30) days from the first date of the training, no cancellation is possible.

 

What are the system requirements for my device? (operating systems, audio, browser)

Every participant must have a computer that meets the following hardware requirements for running Backbase Software:

      Apple MacBook: Processor: i5, RAM: 16GB

      Windows-based Systems: Windows OS 64-bit edition, Processor: i5, RAM: 16GB

For trainings at your location, all the participants (including the trainers) must have internet access that provides them with the ability to download the software required for the training course, these details will be provided ahead of your training. 

Which languages can I follow training in?

All our trainings are delivered in English, all training materials are also in English.

Can I complete the training but not get certified?

For all trainings with a certification available, we highly recommend completion of the test before joining a Backbase project.

Once I’ve completed my training, will I still have access to the materials?

Yes, you can still access training materials post-training where applicable.

How can I pay for training?

eLearning courses can be purchased directly in our store via PayPal or credit card. Should you require an invoice as an alternative, please contact us. Classroom trainings will be billed via an invoice.

What is the content of Entry Level Testing/Qualifying Testing?

The content of the Entry Level Test and Qualification Test are a combination of general coding knowledge, and role specific  questions.

What if I fail the Entry Level Test?

A second chance at the Entry Level Test is possible. Should this also be failed, please get in touch with us or your training arranger to discuss your options.

What are the maximum participant numbers per training?

For classroom trainings, there is a maximum capacity of 6 participants. Online trainings have no maximum capacity.
